Dr. Seymour was born and raised in Ebensburg, Pa. He received an undergraduate degree of BS in Biology from Juniata College in Huntington, Pa.(1982) and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pa College of Optometry (1986).

Dr. Seymour has been in private practice in his hometown for 36 years where he provided care for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. He has extensive experience in specialty contact lens fittings. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and South Carolina Optometric Society.

Dr. Seymour and his wife of 36 years, Paula, relocated to South Carolina to be closer to their children. They raised five children together-four of which now live in the Charlotte area.

In his free time, he enjoys going to camp and fly fishing. He enjoys playing guitar and listening to country music. He looks forward to providing eye care to the Lancaster area because it feels like home.
